Platform basics
What is ContactTheBusiness?
ContactTheBusiness is a B2B business visibility and discovery platform. It helps business owners create a public business profile with approved business details, photos, videos, contact options, social links, banners, and other profile information so visitors can understand the business faster.
Is ContactTheBusiness for private consumers?
No. ContactTheBusiness is intended for business use only. It is built for business owners, companies, freelancers, self-employed professionals, authorised business representatives, and other B2B users.
Is ContactTheBusiness a marketplace, booking agent, or seller?
No. ContactTheBusiness helps businesses present themselves and be contacted. It is not the seller of the listed business products or services, and it is not a party to contracts, bookings, orders, reservations, quotes, deliveries, or customer relationships between visitors and listed businesses.
Is ContactTheBusiness a movie, streaming, or download website?
No. It is not a movie, entertainment, or file-download website. Videos and images are used only to help explain real businesses, services, products, locations, teams, portfolios, menus, events, or other business-related information.
Does ContactTheBusiness create or edit my videos for me?
No. Business users upload their own finished media. A clear smartphone video can be enough if it helps visitors understand the business. The business user remains responsible for the content, quality, rights, and accuracy of uploaded media.
Does being listed mean ContactTheBusiness recommends my business?
No. A public listing means the profile was accepted for display under platform rules. It does not mean ContactTheBusiness verifies, certifies, audits, recommends, guarantees, or accepts responsibility for the business, its services, its products, its licences, its prices, or its legal compliance.
Wallstoneberg and legal operator
What is the relationship between ContactTheBusiness and Wallstoneberg?
ContactTheBusiness.com is the public service name and website. Wallstoneberg, Einzelunternehmen, is the legal operator of the service. The Wallstoneberg website is the operator/corporate website; ContactTheBusiness.com is the active public B2B platform.
Where can I find the legal provider information?
The legal provider information is available in the Imprint. The Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Data Copyright / UGC & IP Policy also explain the operator relationship and platform rules.
Which legal pages should business users read before registering?
Before registering or submitting a business, business users should read the Terms, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Data Copyright / UGC & IP Policy. These pages form the main source of the platform rules.
Why does the site mention B2B use so often?
The platform is designed for commercial, business, trade, professional, or self-employed purposes. It is not intended as a private consumer service. This matters for registration, payment, withdrawal rights, responsibility for business content, and legal expectations.
Does the FAQ replace the Terms or Privacy Policy?
No. The FAQ is a practical summary for easier understanding. If there is any conflict or doubt, the Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Data Copyright / UGC & IP Policy, and other legal pages prevail.
Registration, email verification, and review
How do I add my business?
You start from the business registration page, create the owner account, add business basics, provide the required business information, accept the required legal pages, verify your email, and submit the business application for review.
What information do I need during registration?
Registration may ask for owner account details, business name, category, business description, public contact information, location or service area, opening hours, search words, and other information needed to build a clear business profile.
Why must I verify my email?
Email verification helps confirm that the account email belongs to the registering user and allows the platform to send important account, review, dashboard, billing, and service messages.
Does registration make my business public immediately?
No. Registration creates the account and business submission. Public display happens only after ContactTheBusiness reviews and approves the business profile and relevant public content.
How long does review take?
Review time can vary depending on the submission, media, clarity, workload, and whether corrections are needed. The goal is to keep the platform useful and safe while checking that public content is suitable for a B2B business listing platform.
Can my business application be rejected?
Yes. A business may be rejected or returned for correction if it is unclear, misleading, incomplete, inappropriate, unsafe, suspicious, unlawful, not suitable for the platform, or does not appear to be a real business listing.
What happens if I make changes after approval?
Public-facing changes may need review before visitors see them. This can include business details, photos, videos, logos, banners, contact options, social links, descriptions, categories, and other profile content.
Can I add more than one business?
The platform is built around business profiles. If you manage more than one real business, each business should be accurate, authorised, and submitted in line with platform rules. Do not create misleading duplicates or listings for businesses you are not authorised to represent.
Free business profile
Can I add my business for free?
Yes. A business can start with the Free level. A Free business page appears publicly after review and approval.
What does Free include?
Free gives the business a basic public page after approval. It includes basic business details, one short video up to 1 minute, up to 3 photos, and up to 5 search words, subject to the current rules shown on the platform.
Is Free really free forever?
The basic Free listing level is shown as €0 per month on the pricing page. Free features are still subject to platform rules, moderation, technical availability, and any future changes to the service.
Can Free businesses upload media?
Yes. Free includes limited media capacity. Public media still needs to meet the Community Guidelines and may need review before it appears publicly.
What is not included in Free?
Free does not include the fuller Pro tools such as expanded media capacity, more search words, selected customer contact buttons, social media links, visitor activity details, business banners, or review replies where those Pro features are available.
Can I start with Free and upgrade later?
Yes. Free is the starting point. You can upgrade when you want more media, more contact options, more profile completeness, visitor activity information, banners, social links, or review reply tools.
Pro plan, features, and pricing
What does Pro add?
Pro adds more space and more tools for businesses that want a fuller profile. It can include two longer videos up to 5 minutes each, up to 15 photos, up to 15 search words, customer contact choices, social media links, visitor activity details, business banners, and review reply tools, subject to the current plan rules.
How much is Pro?
The current Pro price is shown on the Pricing page and confirmed in PayPal before payment is completed. PayPal shows the final payable amount before you approve the subscription.
When should I choose Pro?
Choose Pro when the business needs more videos, more photos, stronger contact options, social links, featured banners, review replies, and more insight into how visitors interact with the business page.
Does Pro publish content immediately?
No. Pro gives more tools, but it does not bypass review. Uploaded public content and business changes may still need ContactTheBusiness review and approval before appearing publicly.
Does Pro guarantee customers, sales, rankings, or views?
No. Pro provides presentation, discovery, contact, and activity tools. It does not guarantee views, clicks, calls, bookings, enquiries, leads, rankings, customers, revenue, or approval of every submission.
Can I downgrade from Pro to Free?
If Pro ends or is cancelled, paid features may stop or become unavailable after the current paid period ends. The business may remain at the Free level where allowed, but Pro-only content or tools may be hidden, locked, limited, or unavailable.
What happens to Pro media if Pro is no longer active?
Pro-only capacity and tools may be restricted after Pro ends. Some media or features may remain stored for account, legal, technical, or moderation reasons, but public display and editing may depend on the active plan and platform rules.
Can Pro businesses use external links and call-to-action buttons?
Yes, where available and approved. Pro contact options may include call, email, website, booking, quote request, menu, order online, product page, event page, tickets, brochure, price list, and similar business actions. External links must be lawful, safe, accurate, and relevant.
Videos, photos, logos, banners, and media
What kind of video should I upload?
Upload a clear business video that helps visitors understand what the business does. Useful videos may show the premises, products, services, rooms, food, work examples, team, portfolio, customer-facing process, event space, or brand identity.
Can I upload vertical videos?
Yes, if vertical video shows the business clearly. Landscape video often fits public profile pages better, but the best format is the one that presents the business professionally and accurately.
What photos should I upload?
Use real, clear, relevant photos. Good choices include premises, products, menus, rooms, services, work examples, equipment, team photos where lawful, portfolios, events, or customer-facing business areas.
Can I upload my logo?
Yes, if you own the logo or have permission to use it. Do not upload another company’s logo, trademark, brand asset, or protected material unless you have the required rights.
Can I add banners?
Business banners may be available as a Pro feature. Banners can help present the business visually, but they must still be accurate, lawful, professional, and approved before public display.
What happens if media is rejected?
Rejected media does not appear publicly. You may remove it and upload a better version. Rejected media may be removed after a short time to save storage or manage moderation records.
Does rejected media count against my plan limit?
Rejected media normally should not count as usable public plan content. If something looks wrong in your dashboard, contact support with your business name and the affected media item.
Can I upload stock photos, music, or content found online?
Only if you have the rights and permissions needed for business use on ContactTheBusiness. Do not upload copyrighted photos, videos, music, logos, product images, text, or brand materials unless you are authorised to use them.
May ContactTheBusiness resize, crop, compress, or convert my media?
Yes. By submitting content, you allow the platform to technically process media where needed for hosting, display, thumbnails, previews, performance, moderation, security, and normal platform operation.
Dashboard, editing, analytics, and account access
What can I manage in the dashboard?
The dashboard is the business owner’s control room. Depending on plan and status, it may let you manage business details, photos, videos, logo, contact options, social links, analytics, billing, and business profile changes.
Can I edit my business details later?
Yes. You can edit business details later. Public-facing edits may need review before visitors see them.
Can I change my category or search words?
Yes, where the dashboard allows it. Choose the most accurate category and search words. Search words should describe the business honestly and should not be spammy, misleading, or unrelated.
What analytics or activity details can Pro show?
Pro may show visitor activity details such as profile views, video views, video plays, photo clicks, contact clicks, website clicks, service clicks, booking clicks, quote requests, menu views, product clicks, event clicks, ticket clicks, social link clicks, or banner clicks where available.
Are dashboard analytics exact sales numbers?
No. Dashboard activity information helps you understand how visitors interact with your page. It does not prove sales, customers, conversion, revenue, or complete visitor intent.
Can my team share one login?
Use account access carefully. The safest approach is that the owner or a trusted authorised person manages the business dashboard. Do not share login details widely or with people who are not authorised to act for the business.
What if I lose access to my account?
Use the available login or password reset options. If you still cannot access your account, contact support with enough information to identify the business and account. ContactTheBusiness may need to verify authority before making changes.
Customer contact, public pages, categories, and search
Can visitors contact my business from my profile page?
Yes, depending on your plan, approved profile settings, and available contact options. Contact options may include phone, email, website, booking, enquiry, quote request, menu, ordering, products, events, tickets, and similar business actions.
Can I add social media links?
Social media links may be available, especially for Pro. Links must be relevant, accurate, lawful, and connected to the listed business. Do not link to unsafe, misleading, illegal, or unrelated pages.
Can I share my business page outside ContactTheBusiness?
Yes. You can share your public business profile link in messages, on your own website, or on social channels once the page is public. The profile is designed to be a clean business link visitors can understand.
Will my business page appear in search engines?
Public business pages may be accessible to visitors and search engines, subject to technical settings, indexing, search engine decisions, and platform rules. ContactTheBusiness does not guarantee search ranking or search engine visibility.

ContactTheBusiness supports many industries, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, construction, education, health, retail, professional services, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, transportation, real estate, entertainment, engineering, energy, public services, and more.

Use the category options available in the registration or dashboard. The selected category should be the closest honest match. Misleading category selection may be corrected, rejected, or moderated.
Can I add opening hours and service areas?
Yes, where those fields are available. Keep opening hours, location, address, service area, website, phone, email, and other public details accurate and updated.
Billing, PayPal, invoices, cancellation, and refunds

Can I cancel Pro?
Yes. Cancellation stops future billing. Your paid Pro access normally remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
Do I get a refund if I cancel in the middle of a billing period?

Which email should I use for billing support?
